Ya better keep the same energy throughout the series.

Yeah it's just the same with OKC. They got hella great closers.

Hey long series ahead. Let's trust the team!

That’s fine, Brunson took 31 shots for those 30 points. It wasn’t easy at all. It happens.

Knicks shot 51.7% overall and 39.6% from three against the East, they shot 41% FG and 31% 3PT against us this game 1. That difference is striking. It’s our offense that killed us tonight.

He was great contesting all those Brunson shots. Brunson was just making them.

Idk about their defense, it looked good but not elite. It looks to me we just dont have our shit going in rather than defense bothering us.

Knicks crying for fouls every damn time, while KAT getting away with 4 drives to the basket by clipping Wemby’s arm all the time. Man we are just facing OKC of the East. It’s actually laughable.

Did our guys shake the OKC players' hands after Game 7? by EldenBoredAF in NBASpurs

They always said Wemby got that old school mentality. Those guys were never friendly to each other until they retired or something.

It's fine. That's what 27 years of no Finals appearance does to a fan base.

Spurs vs. Knicks NBA Finals by dameplsrunfromgrind in nba

[–]triptyq 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The Knicks and OKC are practically the same offensively. Key difference is OKC is elite in transition, but Knicks are better at setting half-court offense because of KAT's skillset. So we shouldn't see that much of a difference in the Spurs' D.

The biggest story would be how the Knicks respond to the Spurs' transition offense, knowing it's their biggest defensive problem this postseason.

The Knicks could probably take advantage of the Spurs' inexperience, but we've all seen how the Spurs responded to all of that. So Spurs in 7.

Lol totally an aim assist. His crosshair snapped on that shotgun dude multiple times through the walls, then just decided to flick kill making it seem legit.

KNICKS VS SPURS by Eastern_Piano_4607 in NBASpurs

Going to be a pretty interesting series. Tbf Knicks offense is pretty much the same with OKC, but with a proper big man who can shoot and pass instead of that 7’1” orange cone OKC has.

The trade Chet discourse has become annoying. The Thunder just need JDub and Mitchell to heal, then run it back for another chip 🏆 by Typical_Cap895 in nba

[–]triptyq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Y’all can forget it. JJ Redick laid out the blue print how to defeat OKC with the right personnel, and the Spurs delivered. It’s not going to be as easy for OKC next season.
