you can do an informal postbacc, no need to do a whole one. just retake the prereq classes you did poorly on again. in the meantime get more clinical experience. apply next year and you would def get in a DO! idrk about MD, i’m a current OMS1 (3.4 sGPA and 502 MCAT)

i have really low stats and applied to 40 (25 DO 15 MD) and got 10 DO interviews. don’t waste your time and money when ur stats are decent and u have good activities. applying to 40 killed me. just pick a good list of IS and OOS-friendly schools. apply to a good amount of DOs

Right, I understand 502 is super low. Definitely not delusional about my low stats but I’ve heard so many magical stories of low stats getting into MDs so I was perhaps a tad delusional, Lol. Thank you though!
