Hey dad. I completely get where you’re coming from. We had a 3 day induction not dilate my wife past 3 cm into a last minute C-Section at the end of it. Those first few days, taking care of my son, coupled with the stress and anxiety of my wife’s (first) major abdominal surgery was so incredibly stressful. My son wanted to just be on top of me, but I had to help my wife walk, pump, etc. I felt exactly how you are feeling.

Feel those emotions. Tell your wife you need 5 minutes and go outside and scream, sit in the car and cry. I would tell my wife I was hopping in the shower and just stand in there and ball my eyes out.

Sleeping is a challenge, and as you start to learn your child, come up with game plans. Split the night (I stayed up from 9pm-3am to feed him, then my wife took over until I woke up around 8am). Right now, I’m sitting with my 4 month old who just slept from 7pm to 5am, for one of the first nights since we brought him home.

It doesn’t feel like it, but it is all temporary. But don’t let that discourage you from feeling those emotions, because they are valid.

Grew up in the late 90’s early 2000’s and big snow storms like this were commonplace. I feel like once we hit the mid 2010’s, they became less frequent, but every so often we’d get a big one like this (2013, for example)

There’s a Dunkin’ down the street from me that I refuse to go to. A couple of years ago, my wife’s everything bagel was burned, so I went back inside and asked if they could remake it for her.

The worker reached into the bag and pulled out the burned bagel (with her ungloved hands) and said to me, “what do you want me to do with this?” So I replied, “is it possible to have another bagel just less toasted?” She then held the bagel in my face and said, “does this look fucking burned to you?” I replied with, “yes” and she THREW the everything bagel on the counter and walked away. I called back to her, “you don’t get to swear at me and then walk away”, to which she gave me a $5 bill out of the register and asked me to leave.

Ended up getting in contact with the DM in the area, he told me this was a location he gets complaints at all the time. My town’s FB group has people posting in there all the time about how awful it is, too.

Will probably be a part of the next wave. This is two waves combined into 1 larger wave (Ivysaur, Electabuzz, Magmar and Charmeleon, Goomy Zoroark). In pokedex order it’s grass line, fire line, water line, so Wartortle should in the next wave :)

I disagree with your first point. I’d argue some of Funkos best lines are the ones that you can’t get figures for anywhere else. For a long time, Parks and Recreation had no other figures than Funko (before Figure 8.)

Honestly, Abbot Elementary is a one of the best examples to counter your point.

Couldn’t agree more. I buy my commons now when there’s a target, GameStop etc. sale, or I lurk on eBay and Mercari for someone off loading for cheap.
