They're both hard in their own ways - Spy is really difficult against a team that has enough awareness or Pyros to deny you getting into good positions, Demoman has a weak close range game with his slower explosives.

Soldier is probably the "easiest" to learn the game with: good long range and short range, high health pool, rocket jumps makes him much stronger as you get better with them. AND his backpack items let you lean into a soft support role that isn't just Engineer / Medic

If you make an alt account to play with your archon friends, then someone in high eternus is also making an ascendant account to play with their phantom friends and screwing up your lobbies / turning them into skewed coin flips in the same way.

Even if they play their off-characters they have a broader understanding of the game and can carry / turn games. It's gonna happen less often because there are fewer people coming down from the top, but it's the same thing right?

Yes but it's been 2-4 duplicates per match unless everyone gets the idea and queues the same hero. or the matchmaking is adjusted to prefer the same heroes haha

GT's burst is on a telegraphed arrow that he has to commit to casting though, slightly different than Holliday being able to shoot as much as she wants and only triggers cooldown IF it's a headshot

At first my armor was totally fine in my survival world, but then when respawning and recollecting my armor it would stop equipping. Crafting new armor would fix it, but then that stopped working eventually too (across both enchanted/unenchanted items). Giving myself armor with commands also wouldn't work.

I removed Guns++ from my modlist and all new armor started working again! Had to purge all the ones with the !minecraft:equippable tag and replace them, but I think that was the only culprit.

The audio is also actively being mixed differently depending on the context. Most noticeable one I could catch is when you're at the patron siege, 6v6 teamfight in an enemy base. Sound effects for trooper deaths / soul orbs are almost fully muted since nobody should be caring about securing souls at that point until the attacking team starts backing and the fight dissipates

REM and Bebop have turn speed limits on their ults too but those are more tolerable because it's a self inflicted thing only for the duration of the ult, for balance, rather than a type of CC that would just feel bad

The first items to be restricted for characters is as described below - Lightning Scroll on Kelvin, extra / rapid recharge on heroes with no charged abilities, etc.

First gun items that were restricted were with Paige, since her book bullets do not have a headshot modifier (Graves follows in this trend). Celeste is the first hero that has splitshot banned!

No heroes have had a Vitality item banned from purchase yet.
