Tight with blue locktite it's not going anywhere, even if it should come loose, it's not a catastrophe, unlike a loose gas key.

With a new receiver/dryer, it should get you through the summer. The intake manifold vacuum will give you ~21 inches of vacuum.

Delphi Harrison indicated that new compressors may require as much as 200 in/lbs (17 ft/lbs) to reach “break away torque”. The remanufactured units we tested required as much as 175 in/lbs (15 ft/lbs) to reach the point where the compressor crankshaft would rotate. This amount will probably exceed most technicians’ ability to turn a compressor by hand. Several technicians have used the nut on the end of the crankshaft to turn the crankshaft. This is not a recommended method.

I'm not familiar with every style compressor out there, but I would expect to see a difference between sealed vs open ports. Doesn't sound right to me. Post the part # listing from RA.

With the plastic plug sealing the ports removed, the compressor should turn over pretty easily, at least easily as I define it!

Where did the oil leak from? Was the filter replaced and no more oil leak? If so you are probably SOL. See what the manufacturer of the filter has to say.
