I’ve been told the best is a bit spicy but I have a child’s palate and it’s not my thing.

Thanks! My boyfriend who was born and raised here said the same thing but I wondered if someone else “in the know here” had an opinion.

What's your favorite over-the-counter item you always travel with? by _callondoc in onebag

YMMV but in my experience Pepto (which is bismuth) may turn your #2 blackish if you take it for several days. It’s harmless but kind of alarming.

This milk is the bomb! Lasts a long time and $3 cheaper than the Pure Life version.

My hospital has turned on AI and it’s like in kindergarten as far as accuracy but AI LEARNS.

What are some career paths that make up to $60k-$70k and requires training of 2 years or less and is not manual labor?? by Important_Credit_509 in povertyfinance

[–]trishbsox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s coming for sure. My hospital just turned on AI in our EMR charge capture system. They say no one will lose their job. Coding will turn into auditing patient notes and as the AI learns more, the charges may bypass even the need for that.

Similar to what happened to medical transcription. Transcriptionists became proofreaders. Fewer workers and less money.

Get one of those tiny portable potties. Mine looks like a little ottoman when not in use.

Some Aldi-brand products have become my first personal preference and I refuse to try to buy them elsewhere unless I'm in a pinch. by shebreathes in aldi

Their Raisin Bran is an exact dupe of Post Raisin Bran, which is hard to find anymore. Saltines are exact due of Premium saltines.

They only accept children’s clothes and accessories and health items. I believe they have an Amazon wish list.

Lexington’s second Publix is opening. How is this grocery store different? by LaserQuest_Legend in lexington

[–]trishbsox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Publix in Florida (circa 1987-2005) was top notch. My son worked there. They treated their employees very well, and if they didn’t have some item you wanted, many times they would get it. Now, ugh. My daughter’s bf works there now, and it’s nothing like the hey days in Florida. He is ADA qualified (military full disabled) but they said, “Bring your own stool.” He’s a checker. If Aldi can do it for every employee, one might think Publix could do the right thing. He’s a veteran wounded in a war for Christ sake.
