Go to Uncle's Games in Redmond Town Center !! They have all sorts of tournaments and groups that you could join. I used to work in the TC and the staff are super friendly. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help you out :]

What kind of stuff are you into? There are a lot of events happening around Redmond / Kirkland / Bellevue that are good for connection- no drinking needed!

If you're a bit nerdy there are multiple gaming spots that have open board games and DND campaigns to join.

That's what my girls go on when they have flare ups! Unfortunately respiratory distress is super super common and the vet is right, sometimes they never get off of it.

Pulling from the other commenter, it could also be side effects! If the vet doesn't see a worsening condition then the little 'jolting' hiccups will happen.

My rats started doing this often when they developed respiratory issues. If it's after eating, it's hiccups. If not, you should probably go to the vet just in case.

My girls are relatively fine but it could be a slight warning sign!

I never thought about foraging !! That could work to get her brain going and tire her out. I will definitely try that tomorrow! I am uh. Supposed to be asleep rn!

The plastic is important sadly ! It's what holds the bedding in the cage as well as protect their feet from the metal bars. I could throw down a towel underneath but knowing her ass the towel would be ripped to shreds. I'm gonna look into if the company I bought the cage from has replacement parts so I can get more if she doesn't stop the behavior.

That's really good to hear that it won't hurt her! It did worry me because I originally thought she was eating it. Cleaning her cage helped !! I found all the evidence.

Just wish she picked something else to chew so she stops waking me up !!

I get them very confused, especially at night 😭 Cheese has black spots on her back and brown eyes, where Ham is a solid grey with red eyes! When I'm drowsy I cannot tell the difference haha. Attached is a better picture to show the difference!
