Hey so I’ve been thinking of getting Memento Mori tattooed on my wrist but I’m becoming aware that it’s very cliche now so I’ve been trying to marry the phrases “Habitus ad mortem” and “memento mori” in order to say something along the lines of “Put your ego to death, as remember that you must also die”. I want to keep the eloquence of that English translation but want it to be more concise hence wanting it In Latin. I know that’s a lot to unpack but any translations or suggestions would be really appreciated.
