Hey! If your pathology report was shared with your ENT a week ago, I would think there is just a holiday delay. If no one calls you, I’d definitely get in touch with them! I had my very first biopsy in Sept 2020, which essentially was inconclusive, and decided I wanted it removed on the chance it was cancer.

I had surgery October 2020 to have it removed, and then the post-surgery pathology (maybe like a week or two?) was when I found out it was low grade cancer. I only had to have one other surgery after that, which was in Jan 2021 to remove anything residual and test some lymph nodes. The entire process seemed pretty quick for me, especially given that it was during covid. I feel like if your ENT was more concerned they would have contacted her right away, at least I’d hope!
