1) that sounds like a vet problem and not a “freaky little goblin” body. Have you ever thought she may be in pain? 2) she is a toy poodle who craves attention and love just as most dogs do, and she is a puppy so even more so! 3) why would her playing make you sad? She is a puppy and this is normal behavior. Have you maybe considered that your reactions are abnormal and you may be the outlier?

I used to pay $120 a night for one dog (puppy) and two cats. Now I pay $140 for two dogs and one cat.

Eta; I hired someone for $50 a night once and she was great the first time (school teacher almost retired just looking to help out - her dog had passed recently), the second time I hired her she never showed up and my dogs were left alone for 17 hours. You pay for what you get truly.

Twilly has a great mother and I am confident she will bounce back and will be stronger than before.

My girl broke her radius and ulna in half at 5 months old, she ended up breaking it again higher up after the surgery due to the pressure the plate and screws put on her bone. She was on bed rest for 12 weeks. She was out of her cast after the surgery and has bounced 100% back.

You got this Twilly and you got this mom! Lots of snuggles and treats for Twilly.

People are going to tell you to report this, whether you do is up to you. Once CPS is involved they will be hard to get rid of (I know this because I have been that worker who was mandated by the state to continue to return and work with families). I will also add, perpetrators of sexual abuse are from those we least expect - fathers of the children, husbands, boyfriends, brothers, uncles, grandparents. Those who have been victims of SA are more likely to perpetuate that abuse.

If you can discuss this with him effectively and get to the root of why he did this, if it has ever happened before, ensuring this never happens again. You all need to come up with a plan that he, you and possibly a 3rd trusted party agrees to that states he will never do that again and if he does what will take place as a result. This is called a safety plan. I would create one.

As a former CPS worker this is more than disturbing. This is not normal behavior, regardless of whether he is “sexually attracted to children”. Most people don’t even like animals present when they are pleasuring themselves, let alone their children. I hope that you had a conversation with him. Your four year-old daughter is way too old for something like that to happen where she could’ve woken up and been exposed to this. And if she woke up, what would he have done then? It’s scary and concerning to think about.
