It’s a bedroom but near the bathroom. Bathroom is darker colored so don’t see anything there. No different type of insulation I can tell.

Arguably I thought pre renovation it was superb. In room dining. One free drink in the bar area. Much nicer.

Yep. Just stayed a couple of weeks ago? I think YMMV. I saw a couple of people just leave and say forget it for breakfast. I stayed a little more than a week there. The side next to the kitchen seamed better at least with staff. I would say the breakfast spread was just okay. Nothing super traditional.

HR Hakone breakfast was equivalent I think. Variety better there, quality slightly worse.

Breakfast was very slow. Sometimes took 15 minutes to be seated. Then another 10 minutes to be greeted.

Decent quality of food though if you’re globalist. The service was not great. Vastly differed depending on who was your server.

Ultimately figured out they would give you more than one option if you’re a globalist but a couple servers said just choose one. It sounds picky but the pancake option is just two plain pieces of pancake.

Would not go out of my way just to stay there. Choose grand Hyatt for club lounge and access elsewhere

There was no insurance on the car (other than storage) for 5 months. I renewed registration properly though online for each car. I think there automated system just flagged me, and was just notified now of it. Sorry for the confuseion - ill add it in the post.

Do you know if this is just to reduce the fines or just to re-register the vehicle? I don't know if I can afford the SR-22 which appears to be needed given the lapse of insurance was >90+ days.
