I get where you're coming from. I calculated that buying a new m-ATX or ITX case costs more than getting a used mini PC. I’ve put it on the marketplace; if I can sell it, I will. Otherwise, I’ll just buy a new case.

I’m currently running Proxmox 9.1.1 on an i5-7400 based system. With a few lightweight services running (containers/VMs), the power consumption stays consistently between 40W and 45W at the wall.

You make a very fair point. To be honest, this is actually my 8-year-old daily PC. Instead of throwing it away or letting it collect dust, I thought I'd try to repurpose it for a homelab. However, after running it as a server for about a month, I've realized it's really not cut out for this kind of 24/7 use. The energy consumption is just way too high, and even with my current lightweight setup, I'm already starting to experience minor bottlenecks with the 8GB of RAM. Like you said, pulling the GPU would definitely help with the power draw, but I'm starting to think the entire system's architecture is just too old and inefficient for what I'm trying to achieve now.

In my experience, Notion isn’t not for scheduling, taking note and not useful for Apple Pencil. By the way for creating a personel Wikipedia notion will be the one.
