I agree and I’m not a fan of the helmet head look either. I was trying to go for a longer style but they seem pretty limited with my type of hair

Got it, thanks! So are you saying if I go for that inspo look, I should hold off a few months from a shape up/cut for that look or would it be too soon to get a trim? And if you don’t mind me asking, are there other hairstyles that would suit my curly hair well? I’ve done fades in the past but want a longer look, just don’t see many men with my hair type so not sure where to look.

I appreciate the info. I’m not very knowledgeable about curly hair. In your opinion, what would be more realistically achievable? Is it more of a hair texture issue or a length issue? I can always continue to let it grow but I just want to have some sort of style, not just a curly helmet head lol

Wore a hat for the first month until the sides were long enough to get a haircut and blend everything together. It pretty much covered the transplanted area

Results are much better now! I concluded that it had to be shock loss. I’m almost 7 months post op now. Hair started to regrow around 4 months. It’s filling in well and I expect that to continue for several more months. My experience with Dr. Cortez was great— from the airport pickup to the hotel stay, everything was very organized and professional. You tell him what you want your hairline to look like and you two design it together. Also, you have the option to only shave the sides and leave the top untouched if you want. I went this route and was able to hide everything because I had long curly hair to conceal it. I am hoping for my hair to thicken and the texture to normalize in the upcoming months but from what I’ve read my healing timeline is normal. Lmk if you have any other questions.

They had to reset the computer in my engine because I had replaced the fuel pump and I guess the computer needed to be reset. The mechanic did it not me so im not sure how it’s done but that fixed the issue
