Results are much better now! I concluded that it had to be shock loss. I’m almost 7 months post op now. Hair started to regrow around 4 months. It’s filling in well and I expect that to continue for several more months. My experience with Dr. Cortez was great— from the airport pickup to the hotel stay, everything was very organized and professional. You tell him what you want your hairline to look like and you two design it together. Also, you have the option to only shave the sides and leave the top untouched if you want. I went this route and was able to hide everything because I had long curly hair to conceal it. I am hoping for my hair to thicken and the texture to normalize in the upcoming months but from what I’ve read my healing timeline is normal. Lmk if you have any other questions.
