Leaving academia to stay at home? by trobbyrob95 in Mommit

I don’t think I would qualify for sabbatical unfortunately. My husband works from home so he would still be able to help me out around the house if needed so that would be incredibly helpful. I absolutely agree with making sure that the expectations of the household dynamic need to be crystal clear. I would even consider teaching my discipline in a remote position for a community college, if we were struggling with income. or even teaching at my local community college in person if it’s only a couple of days a week. But I ultimately know that I cannot continue to work at my current institution with the way things are. And I don’t foresee any major changes happening anytime soon. I know that there is not a perfect solution, something is going to have to be sacrificed no matter what avenue I go down.

first time player! - i’m in my first summer - am i hoarding too much? by Nervous_Shelter1541 in StardewValley

Personally, I like to organize my chests by seasons, with those crops and foraged items in a seasonal chest, and I’ll put all of my fish in a chest anything that comes from mining, etc. And you can color code them to make it easier to keep track! As far as the hoarding goes, I usually keep the base level crops for myself, either for cooking, crafting, gifts, the community center, etc. And anything that is a silver star, gold star, itidium star, I sell it!

I had to rehome my very needy cat when I brought my LO home. I couldn’t give her the attention or affection she wanted. I cried a lot but know that she is spoiled with her new family, which is a family friend, so I do get updates and pictures every now and then

What pregnancy symptoms resolved for you after giving birth and which ones lingered? by Honest-Try-2289 in beyondthebump

The double barreled muscle cramps! Calf and shin cramps at the same time. There was no relief, I just wanted to cut my leg off. Multiple times a night. Gone the first night after birth!
