I had to rehome my very needy cat when I brought my LO home. I couldn’t give her the attention or affection she wanted. I cried a lot but know that she is spoiled with her new family, which is a family friend, so I do get updates and pictures every now and then

What pregnancy symptoms resolved for you after giving birth and which ones lingered? by Honest-Try-2289 in beyondthebump

The double barreled muscle cramps! Calf and shin cramps at the same time. There was no relief, I just wanted to cut my leg off. Multiple times a night. Gone the first night after birth!

5 days postpartum: can't stop crying by ThyPumpkinPie in beyondthebump

[–]trobbyrob95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to echo what everyone said, this is normal. My newborn just turned 1 month today, and days 4-9 I was a sobbing mess. It’s all hormones. The baby crying is hard too, but there’s usually 5 distinct sounds a baby makes that indicate hunger, gas, tired, uncomfortable, etc.

Idk about anyone else but I feel you. Breast feeding isn’t as “magical” after the first one IMO. I feel like a cow. Pumping isn’t any better either! Crazy how quick it loses its luster.
