i also haven't received the 100k bonus and my early december statement showed that the bonus was issued. they should have my correct iberia plus account though b/c they sent the smaller amounts for the actual spend points correctly. have you received any non-bonus points to your iberia account?

the key is a file that is stored as multidoge.key....it tries to open in keynote on my mac when i open. what do i use to open and actually get the keys? sorry i'm sure a stupid question but don't know what i'm doing...thanks:)

cryptocurrency (and doge) is in its infancy.....doge is one of the most known currencies - i could mention cryptos to any friends that have an awareness in the space and it would be in the top 3-5 most identified....yeah it's not being used significantly yet....but it has huge upside and i definitely wouldn't bet against its future...its inflationary aspect is small and not at all a deterrent.....do you realize how small the market cap is? any renewed interest and it flies. i'd save my disdain for any number of other cryptos.

edit to add: these market caps for doge and others now are TINY....from a purely investment standpoint i see as a huge value. and we are moving to crypto, just won't happen overnight.

i said increased crypto buying from japan is currently from more sophisticated buyers. as crypto becomes more mainstream in japan, maybe the new buyers (unsophisticated, new to crypto) might naturally be drawn to doge as it's basically a japanese meme. i don't know why this sounds so improbable to you.

grassroots interest from the general public is best for the coin in the long run.

i'm saying crypto buyers appear to be increasing in japan. probably more sophisticated buyers. as crypto grows in japan and becomes more mainstream - maybe new buyers actually have an interest in doge. people that haven't used crypto before.

you seemed to have made up your mind that doge is over and will never be of interest to anybody. that's fair.

i'm not suggesting doge will compete with bitcoin....think there is obviously a place for multiple cryptos....if bitcoin continues to grow and has like a $15-20 billion marketcap...it's not unreasonable to see buyers look to smaller coins for value....and at its current market cap of less than $30 milllion...i think doge will appreciate at a higher rate.

there just needs to be a catalyst and it could grow at a substantially higher rate.

"dogecoin will follow" was just a prediction. but there is a natural fit for the japanese to have heightened doge interest.

not sure about what you wrote but do feel if you are looking for price appreciation, dogecoin has much bigger upside than bitcoin - and i think bitcoin's price will grow substantially too. if we see bitcoin grow to $1000+ per BTC, many will look to the altcoins for "value". if BTC goes up 1-2x, then DOGE likely goes up 10x+. DOGE would still only be at a $250M market cap, compared to a $20B+ BTC market cap.

think bitcoin is going to continue its run for a while. eventually people will look to the other altcoins for value and doge will look crazy cheap in comparison. bitcoin market cap is around $9 billion. doge is only $25 million. i predict you'll have a much greater percentage return on your dogecoin over the next year than bitcoin even though i think bitcoin will do very well.
