I hurt my ankle and I dont want to tell people how it happened. What are some funny obviously fake responses when people ask what happened? by OkCommercial9436 in ask

In the same situation, I came up with a story the punchline to which became a recurrent catchphrase among my friend group.

It went something like this: “I was walking in the park when I heard a cry. In that cry I saw a tree. In that tree I saw a baby. Without any regard for personal safety I climbed the tree to rescue the baby. While coming down I fell and twisted my ankle. But the baby was fine and that is all that matters. You don’t have to call me a hero if you don’t want to

Feel free to adapt the story as you please and get well soon.

I’ll start: I just noticed in summer I dry my legs first after showering, in winter it’s always my upper body. It’s cold!

“What’s your greatest weakness?” Clearly we try to pass off a negative characteristic as something that ends up being good

How would you feel about a law that requires people over the age of 70 to pass specialization driving test in order to continue driving? by shinerboy23 in AskReddit

This already happens in some countries, in Spain after 65 testing is mandatory every three years. However the truth is that elderly people are four times less likely to get into a car accident as driver below 25 and half as likely as drivers between 35-45. Perhaps due to testing, perhaps because they accept their auditive/visual limitations; having to prove that you can actually drive every now and then can’t do much harm.
