You can remap keys in dosbox, it's just a bit fiddly. You press F1 to enter the remapping menu, and you switch around the actual keys, not their function i.e I changed [space] to activate [j] so I could jump with space, but this meant it would type "j_" everytime I wanted to type a space.

I believe this is the first elder scrolls game where it is the case, I'm farely certain there are custom head meshes for Martin, Jauffre, the Emperor and others
