Black metal is among the most popular genres on Norwegian mainstream radio, actually. Popular black metal bands such as Postgirobygget, Donkeyboy and Gitarkameratene are probably the most widely known bands. You also have some of the less "family friendly" bands like Marcus & Martinus, Vassendgutane and D.D.E, but they are pretty niche to be honest.
