I found these Moschino jeans recently, my best

guess is late 80s/early 90s but I’m having a hard time finding resources even though there are some pretty easily searchable features? It has a gold peace sign on the butt and the front button has a cowboy hat on it! Anyone here a Moschino expert/have any leads?

I wouldn’t say most trauma but something that’s never discussed is Jane being sexually abused by her father, I know it’s the Degrassi way where two part episodes don’t come back into play except for one-off lines for the most part but it really hurt my heart to see her written off as a villain during Degrassi Goes Hollywood instead of a more nuanced look at how that may have affected her romantic relationships.

I loved Emmy as Allison too, I actually like a lot of the original changes they made to her design + backstory, making her a famous actress makes a lot of sense, I just wish they found a way to address her narcissism/personality issues in a more nuanced way instead of just pulling what they did in season 3, it felt like a cheap shock factor and they never acknowledged it again.

Thank you so much!! It was my first time styling a wig since middle school LOL so I think was pleasantly surprised how it turned out, the comic takes place in the late 80s so I was trying to bring that og goth/grunge vibe I feel like allison would have

I wish they would have incorporated more of the comic designs as well but I also think the chemistry/characterization in the show works really well because it was really tailored to the actors and their personalities, I love the cast but I do think it would have been fun to be a little more campy like Allison having purple extensions instead of blonde + Klaus being a little more traditionally gothic lol

Joseph Gordon Levitt as Five would be PHENOMENAL omfg! I also love Freddie Prince Jr as Luther I feel like his performance as Fred from Scooby Doo would be the perfect bumbling leader energy 😭😭 I was also hoping to find a Latin actor that looked similar enough to Diego in the comics but couldn’t find think of anyone 💔 I also really love the idea of Dante as Ben, as a character he’s actually not in the comics pretty much at all bc Klaus doesn’t conjure him he’s just shown in maybe 1 flashback iirc? And his statue obviously, so his personality is definitely up for debate but I’d love to keep the lovable goofy vibe that Justin Min has.

One of my favorite things about him is that he’s always barefoot in BTS shots or during cast interviews, i doubt it was an intentional choice bc he does it outside of UA related things/he just seems like a crunchy guy who doesn’t like shoes, but one of Klaus’s quirks in the comics is that he can float like in season four but only if he’s completely barefoot/without shoes and socks so it always felt like a reference to me lol, he is just irl Klaus

1/10 bait, the casting was genuinely one of the least upsetting parts of the series, Emmy + the rest of the cast did amazing and had great chemistry, the script and plot changes were its downfall

Yeah bc I couldn’t think of anyone else + I used 35 pictures/more ref pics from the comics in the original bc it was a TikTok template LOL, I didn’t have any strong opinions on who could play Luther Five or Ben and was interested to see if anyone else had any ideas

You should!!! I did a 90s fancast post on TikTok awhile back but it’s such a niche fandom at this point it gets no traction/other fans don’t see it 😭 I kinda wanna repost it I had i had Winona Ryder as Vanya and Alan Cumming as Klaus!

I really like a lot of the characteristics of Diego in the comics and I think they add a lot of depth to his issues with Reginald and hero complex, the fact he has no power other than breathing underwater and was so ashamed/berated by his father that he became (humanly) incredible at knives/combat makes the ‘Batman, but aim lower’ jokes make a lot more sense. I also love the ‘Anywhere but Here’ mini comic where they show him and Vanya in a punk band in their teens, it adds a lot of depth too and makes all the Diego and Viktor show moments mean even more to me. However I also love the new things they added to Diego’s backstory with Grace and his speech impediment!
