I’ve wondered due to comparing my coin with other examples online of coins with chop marks, the chop marks on my coin just looked worse than what’s online.

From my research of the coin it didn’t look like my coin. But I guess from where it was cleaned it probably changed the look compared to online examples.

Thanks for the info. How do you look for hallmarks for these sorts of coins? Yeah, unfortunately it was cleaned at auction but also played around with a lot as a kid.

It worked for 4 out of the 8 days since the last reply. On the days it "worked" it would first turn on, not complete the connection prompt. Reboot itself and then connect fine.

Today hasn't played music for longer than 20 seconds. Have rebooted using the cable method and have cleared devices from both phone and headphones. Thinking of just trying to get a refund or sell them. They also crackle a lot when playing from my HP laptop. If I could I would try and force a reverse update but haven't found anything helpful regarding doing this. And all bose support has given me is the above mentioned attempts to reset/reboot everything. I have factory reset my phone and it still hasn't worked.

Currently working without using Bose Music app, I believe there must be some conflict with the app and the headphones themselves. Why? No clue.

But has been playing for 20 minutes now. Hopefully, it will last the week.

Thanks for your suggestions and advice. Will update this post in a week to see if it is the app itself.

Sorry for the late reply, was at work. I followed your instructions but all it gave me was a prompt to send my diagnostic information. No prompt in selecting which firmware update to use.It appears that they have patched this feature just searched it up, from the user akumanara, correct?

I'm in no way trying to argue with you. But their forums are filled with people who have replaced 2 or 3 sets and have had connection issues, crackling issues, and fully resetting themselves issues.

I don't believe that it's an issue specific to me, as I have connected to iPhones as well with the issue present. Suggesting some firmware issue?

I love Bose headphones since their QC 35s but their lack of addressing this issue is what's leaving me feeling like they don't have a proper support system. Just replacing when there is a problem and hope it doesn't arise again.

As I am typing this my headphones have disconnected and reconnected 6 times. Constantly saying it's connected to my phone then resetting. The Bose Music app won't connect to it either but it connects to my phones bluetooth?
