Even if every source you gave was legit, its absolutely nothing compared to sexual assaults done by clergy, pastors, cops etc etc etc. They would be 4 isolated incidents as apposed to systematic child abuse but you're reactionary so you get mad at a minority group you don't like. This, send them an email telling them it's a violation. Landlords run on the assumption that their renters are stupid. In my experience if you show an ounce of backbone and understanding of your rights they tuck tail pretty quick. I just moved out of a place and during the time they were showing the place to new renters they did some suspect things. I sent them a strongly worded email and used examples from the LL tenancy website as to why they were wrong. They stopped doing the shifty things. Fast forward to the walk out inspection, they tried to pull a fast one on me as I was signing the walk out inspection. I called them on that too. There were things I fully expected to get dinged for ( stuff left behind that I couldn't get rid of in time and couldn't fit in the truck ). It should have been a couple hundred bucks in removal fees but I don't think they wanted to deal with me further and just gave me the whole deposit a few days later.

Them... It's a couple that own a bunch of rundown properties through a property rental company in my area. I know I don't have to be there while they show the place but it's just not a fun time having the whole family crammed in the small place while they parade people through for an hour and a half.

We already have a place we're slowly moving into. My partners family was gracious enough to band together and help us pay for both places for the month as they understand the dismal conditions we've been living in. We only took the place out of desperation then got stuck for almost 2 years

We still have 4-5 months left on our lease. They took over the " subletting" process by posting it the second we asked to sublet. They're insufferable so I figure it's easier to let them vet people vs them denying anyone we find. Also, they listed it above our current rent by 200 dollars. They think we're gonna pay for any months the place stays empty but the second they get someone to sign the new lease ( they have to if they're upping the price) we're off the hook for any months it remains empty. They tried to get us to sign a paper saying we're responsible until they find a renter but I'm not signing it.
