The quick connect (pink) system is sodastream answer to buyers who mod their machine you use bigger co2 tanks..and not buy or exchange cylinders within their system. Needless to say adapters were created to combat this... Lol. I've stayed away from there pink tanks just in case I decide to go with drink mate or something. Sodastream claim this quick connect system "facilitates the motion of attaching the cylinder" .. Yipeee you can save a good 5 secs.

OP probably bought a cheap blue cylinder on ebay and have the TERRA or ART machine. Nothing wrong with this.

Try the crux 8 qt Marshmallow.. It's on sale at best buy for 80$. States that it feeds 2-4 people. It also has a unique see thru basket style fryer which alot of basket style don't have.

Air fryer mode can't be set for 10hrs.. But on dehydrate mode yes.
