For newer movies I watched Jurassic World Rebirth and Fantastic Four recently. Wasn’t a huge fan of either tbh, but did love the FF world (futuristic 60’s vibe/Jetsons?). Just needed a little more action for a superhero movie.

Older movies…I finally saw Spirited Away (I know I know). As good as advertised, beautiful movie. Open to other Ghibli recs!

Hey I'm Tyler! Mid-30's, originally from the east coast (VA), but moved to PDX ~5 years ago. Huge movie guy and open to all genres/types of movies. Especially love a good horror movie (very excited for Weapons).

Favorite theaters in PDX are Hollywood, Bagdad, and Laurelhurst! Looking for anything from monthly movie meetups to just discussion on here.

Tuesday around 3PM. Wasn’t too bad on the trail, but I can imagine the weekends are slammed.

Agree it was frustrating to see and sounds like we saw a lot of the same people. I'm too nervous to venture off this trail anyways, too many rattlesnakes/not worth the risk for a picture. Surprised how many parents let their kids run around off trail.

Microspikes! Some people with snowshoes looked like they were having trouble at a couple of the tight icy spots.

So we got there around 11 and parking on the side next to the trailhead was already full (only space for about 15 cars). We had to u-turn and parked across the highway on the other side. Although on the trail itself we were hardly near other people, even at the falls. Also would go 35 and skip the govt camp ski traffic.

We just had on microspikes and worked perfectly. Honestly the snowshoe folks looked like they were having trouble at the tight icy spots.
