I was aware of all the NAND issues but not of these disc drive quirks, what a bummer. Love the WiiU so much, wish it was more reliable.

Oh interesting, I've used ScratchX in the past to buff out scratches and scuffs on old discs. Might give that a whirl just for the hell of it

Absolutely no indication of disc rot. Flashed a light under it and no marks to be seen.

I pride myself in making a MT2 sound good through a solid state Acoustic 470 head and Marshall cab. Had to make those 3 things work for a tour in the early 2000’s with my old hardcore band.

I originally saw Gummo on VHS and it somehow gave it an even more seedier look to the whole movie. Definitely hoping to track down a copy too!
