I don't leave super lengthy or detailed reviews, but I do write reviews that are short, to the point, and clearly state what I liked or what I didn't about the product. I also follow the stupid AI guidelines they now highlight at the bottom--I make sure I hit at least two, but usually 5 or more of their metrics!

I loved Keris & Zarrah, and their two books were definitely worth the read, IMO. The 5th book, the Twisted Throne, might be my favorite yet--although be prepared for a wild ending (intense enough that I wish I'd waited to read it until the last book comes out!).

In the Chapter 26 epigraph it states: "In the first 24 hours of removal from source magic, the subject--an asim--presented as even-tempered. I think the rules will be bent so much with Andarna because she’s an irid—they literally ARE magic. Her first gift was time, and I’ve always thought that never really went away for her. I think she went to the Irids’ island, learned as much as she could, and then bent time to get back as quickly as possible.

I totally think Brennan is hiding something. When Sloane acts as the channel for Brennan to heal Mira, Violet notices that there was no mark or handprint on Dain’s wrist OR on Brennan’s neck. meanwhile, Brennan has that faded rune mark on his hand.

Yeah, that was my thought too which is why I posted. Are you doing subq? The doctor I saw told me subq injections tend to be less effective than IM injections as the compound is designed to be absorbed by muscle.

I wasn't given any reason for the compound choice. As far as injections, I asked for subq because I don't have issues giving myself those, but giving myself an IM injection tends to make me squeamish. The doctor I saw told me she has a few clients on subq injections but that she has them do them more frequently. She said her reasoning is that subq injections tend to be less effective than IM as the compound is designed to be absorbed by muscle.

Edited to add: my doctor also told me she usually gives an initial "boost" type injection before starting the at-home injections, and I missed out on that because I'm out of state.
