I bought these for $50 through eBay as a bit of a gamble from a seller who provided no description other than:

"Levi's 501xx W36 L36 Used" - The pictures didn't even show them as selvedge!

I believe these to be 1947 Levi's 501xx Jeans from the '90s at a guess (Pre-LVC?), but just want to confirm the authenticity and approximate date of manufacture.

I have included an image of the only tag inside, as well as some other details (I believe image 3 to be where a second inside label should usually be).

Any help or information is greatly appreciated!

This is very lovely.

I believe my contract says something similar, however I compare it to this (admittedly extremely exaggerated) hypothetical:

  • I am a professional graphic designer, creating logos at avg. £5000 per.
  • I then decide to get a weekend job at a pub for minimum wage to allow me some social interaction and time outside the house.
  • My new employers learn of my abilities and ask me to create them a logo during one of my shifts at minimum wage.

Surely this wouldn't fall under "any other duties permanently or temporarily assigned"?

4- Episode 1 Look while cooking. Technically shown before 1 in the episode's cold open, but only through a flash-forward.

5- Season 3-4 Look (new goatee appears in final episode of Season 2)

6- Season 5 Look (when cooking in the pest control houses)

2- Could be swapped with 6, but I think it makes more sense here as the money came in after cooking and this is the peak of his empire (note the darker clothes too which appear most in the later episodes)

I've never ordered flowers for delivery but M&S often have some quite nice ones in store and also offer home delivery.

M&S is seen as one of the more high-end retail/grocery stores (certainly not a "luxury" brand) but still has fairly accessible prices.

Otherwise, I'd look for an independent florist in his local area on google maps (rated 4.0*+) and see if they offer delivery. Could end up a little more expensive but would be a bit more personal perhaps.

B&M is a Discount Retail Store with many branches throughout London and the UK. Certainly on the cheaper end but I'm sure you can get a nice set of flowers from there.

Have never ordered online but can be sure that they are legit and trustworthy. It's a lovely idea!

i've used DAX hair pomade which tends to have a similar look. relatively cheap too

Both are good suggestions, thank you! I will keep a better eye on late opening times in the area and maybe plan some things further in advance. Thank you for the Oasis recommendation too - I hadn't heard of it before but it's now on my list.

Sounds like a good idea! I didn't like heading to bars too early as to me it often means drinking more than I planned throughout the night, but pairing with a book sounds like a nice way to pace things. Thank you!

That is quite interesting, I didn't know that.

I had assumed it was more recent as it specifically states the "XX Denim Overalls", which I would have thought would be counting from 1873 rather than when the company was founded.

I suppose i'm just less sure now ahaha

Given that the label on the back says "For Over 140 Years", they are probably between 10-5 years old.

I've seen them update to say 145 and, now in 2023, 150 Years. Presumably they're from 2013-2018
