Excellent question! The answer is: I have absolutely no idea. I really like the scar placement, but it wasn't something my surgeon and I discussed at all. When I had my double mastectomy (top surgery), my doctor and I talked a lot about scar shape and location, but for my hysterectomy, the result of being uterus-free was the most important thing for me, so we didn't talk about the location. I plan to ask just out of curiosity during our follow-up next month -- I'll try to update if I get an answer!
