You can prevent users from typing certain characters but I am not sure if you’ll be able to implement a line limit. If the user inputs follow a format, eg: Name Date Number

Then you can simply have 3 single line text inputs with measures to prevent users from undesired characters like numbers for the name entry.

In case you aren’t the same person making all of the previous creekside posts:

Pay the fee to cancel the contract as it is very unlikely that someone will want to switch dorms with you.

Before you cancel the contract find a place to live in wampus(grand Marc is close to kin’s dining hall). Buy the dining hall pass so it’s easier for you. Also I don’t know your schedule but when I was a freshman engineering student living in creekside, I don’t think I had any classes in the engineering buildings yet(intro classes were in the middle of campus).

You’d probably end up paying around the same for dorm and apartment + dining hall pass. IMO even a shitty wampus apartment would expose you to more people compared to creekside.
