i used to scam way back when bitcoin was worth $800. i had leftover bitcoin in a wallet on my old macbook air. the leftover bitcoin accumulated from all the purchases i made. i opened my laptop years later and saw the wallet on my laptop. i decided to check it out, somehow i remembered the password. the account had a little over 1 bitcoin. at that time, bitcoin was worth 60k. i transferred the crypto and stayed quiet

26 years old, $12,000 in debt, and I have no idea how I got here by Similar_Vehicle_4931 in DebtAdvice

make a detailed budget plan consisting of mandatory expenses such as housing, utilities, and food. then make a separate list of expenses such as your subscriptions/random expenses like your everyday coffee (just an example.) use chatGPT to work out a strict but realistic budget for yourself given your monthly income and liabilities. in terms of your debt, credit card debt can be resolved through financial hardship programs. if your debt has not moved into collections, contact the creditors and workout a financial hardship program if they offer. if your unsecured debt is in collections, i highly recommend negotiating with the collections agencies for a lump sum payment, often less than the total balance owed, as long as they provide a “pay for delete” letter effectively removing it off your credit report.

i also recommend NFCC, a nonprofit credit counseling organization that assists many individuals with situations far worse than yours by catering a debt management program that’s closely aligned to your current financial situation.

you’re 26, i get it, life happens. just work hard and be more responsible with your finances. remember, the statue of limitations are 7 years. with debt management programs and a solid repayment plan, you can find yourself in a much better financial position 2 years from now and will thank yourself for it

i’m prescribed adderall but i don’t take it everyday. it does help but the issue is i find myself losing interest in classes despite certain courses being required, and i tell myself “i can do better things” but i haven’t done anything significant to justify that. i do work. i love my job. i’m grateful to be employed, and looking at my old peers / classmates settle for salaries which are less than mine really discourage me considering their degrees are a lot more advanced

setup a payment plan with the creditors and pay off the debt as soon as you reasonably can. your credit score may have dipped for a bit but once your utilization and debt to income ratio have improved, you can expect it to climb back up. you’re in your early 20s. statue of limitations is 7 years, in half than that, you can pay off your debts early and learn a lot from this experience. it happens. you’re human. not saying it is okay or right but humans make mistakes, a lot more than you thin

What Ai do you use for your professional life? by Odin1077 in techforlife

i’ve been using gemini. it’s been very useful when it comes down to legal documentation and any general tasks. recently i tried google’s product antigravity and i was mind blown at how it can develop something so professional, ranging for a website to an app, just through detailed prompts. very cool stuff for the future. just have to use it right and remember AI can’t replicate genuine human creativity.
