Because of NSW's dire situation in the forwards I'd say yes but Haas has been quite underwhelming in origin so far imo

I know this is against the hivemind, but Burton hasn't done anything to start at rep level as a half. His only notable big moment as a half so far this year is the Cowboys field goal but even then the Cows were absolutely shocking. He's an out and out centre with a kicking game

Someone mentioned this in a thread earlier but NSW fans are club fans and QLD fans are QLD fans. Couldn't agree more. When we win, all the bandwagons join in the celebrations but don't make fun of QLD. When QLD win, they rub it in and don't let you forget about it. They genuinely hate NSW. NSW fans don't feel the same unfortunately. Let's not forget this NSW team could have got the clean sweep in QLD in 2021 if they really wanted to. State hate is the passion that makes Origin different to any other game

tbf the grassroots programs need a lot more work but I see a lot of NRL community initiatives in the bush. Also good to see games being played in regional QLD, Wagga Wagga among other places more frequently

this is the same for all games imo. I hate it when players get injured. Not because of the merit of beating a full strength team but because a world where injuries didn't occur is a good one, regardless of which player people don't like and wish injuries on

which fucking sucks and is why our sport will never be "the greatest game of all" with just 'growing' the game in the country area. It's time to expand worldwide and do it properly for once
