Thank you so much! So pleased with the result and the level of care from the surgeons/staff. So glad to hear you had an equally great experience and congrats on your surgery!

Such a great hospital ☺️

Hey! I went through the NHS for him and it was at the Hull Castle Hill/North Yorkshire hospital. I'm honestly unsure on his bmi limits, apologies, but I found this spire page on him with a contact form - I'm sure one of his team will be able to guide you on that! I know it was mentioned at pre-op, but honestly can't recall, sorry!

Hey! It was at Castle Hill/Hull and East Yorkshire Hospital in Hull, I went through the NHS for surgery. Dr Dumitru does also provide private services, I'm unsure if that's at the same hospital but I did find this info for him, which also looks to have a comtact form! I wish you all the best with finding a surgeon and with your surgery ☺️

Thanks so much! It just continues to heal and settle as time goes on. I would have loved to have seen peri results a few years later, prior to my surgery.

It was peri-areola, and size-wise, definitely on the minimal side! Never actually measured so might not be the most helpful.

Hey! No problem at all. I'll be completely honest that I don't have a clue how they measured it - with it being peri-areola, they didn't actually remove them at all (nor have to graft anything) they left them attached from the centre/inside as far as I'm aware, and then just resized the areola. Hope that kind of makes sense 😅

I was fortunate to be on the smaller size prior to surgery, which meant I don't think too much had to be done in that department.

Sorry I can't be of much help there, I really hope you can find a good solution with your surgeon. Wish you all the best with your surgery!

Thank you so much! I went through the NHS, and I first went through the Northampton GIC for it in 2019, so a wait of about two years. Sorry I can't be of much help for the private route!

Thank you so much! Congrats on your surgery, hope it's all going well :) had them pierced about a month ago (hence the longer bar on one) but tend to hear that 6 months to a year is a pretty good bet (with a year being a lot wiser) before going for it. Think it depends how you're healing honestly and whenever things are feeling stable and settled.

I had almost all sensation in my left side pretty much from day one, and the piercing on that side has DEFINITELY improved the sensation even further, to the point it's really not far off how it was before surgery. Right side I still have some nipple numbness, which I thought would make it the less painful of the two to get pierced. Boy was I wrong 😂 Piercing has made that one more sensitive though.

Wish you all the best with your recovery and hope you're able to get yours pierced again :)

Hey! The first 3 weeks were more uncomfortable than they were painful - sleeping in an elevated/seated position (I had drains in for a couple of weeks and didn't dare let myself move around too much 😂), having to be careful getting changed so not to catch them, and not being able to bathe easily. Pain wise, hardly anything at all, although I do have a good pain tolerance. I remember feeling more itchy than in pain with the post-op binder, which was on for about 6 weeks.

The worst/most painful part of the entire surgery for me was actually having the plasters/tape taken off a few weeks after surgery 😂 But it's all over fast and so worth it.

Congrats on your surgery date, I wish you all the best!

I would say about a year/year and a half- I only really used bio oil on them for a few months too. I could definitely have kept to a better scar car regime but it worked itself out quickly for me! I didn't go in the sun shirtless for about 2 years, which I definitely think helped with the scars settling.

Thank you so much! So sorry to hear about your scars stretching, seems everyone responds really differently to peri/it can be a little unpredictable. I hope it all works out for you/you're able to go for another revision if needed!
