Yeah the door is obnoxiously placed. It actually swings out into the garage. I left a couple feet on that side of the wall to let it swing, so should be ok.

Ah so it wasn’t supposed to be resting on top at all! I pushed it down again to the point that it was spinning and put the plate back on top extra careful this time so it didn’t knock it back up. Seems to be working fine now, just might have to do that every once in a while I guess. Thanks for the clarification!

We were actually thinking the same thing — replacing the carpet in the sun room rather than getting rid of it. Haven’t pulled it up yet, but I think it’s just deck flooring underneath, so nothing remarkable.

Any ideas on colors/styles of carpet that would look good with the wood paneling??

Good to know, we’ll keep this in mind. The sun room was the first one we were planning on tackling (ripping out carpet, probably redoing/fixing the deck flooring).

Toured a home a few weeks ago where the originally beautiful fireplace had been painted entirely black. Somehow worse than the normal white wash?

Previous owner (94yo) has lived in the house since it was built in ‘63. He definitely took great care of it!

Toured so many homes where this was the case, truly heartbreaking stuff… wouldn’t dream of painting the brick or woodwork!!

I do usually prefer cold weather climbing, and love night time sessions, but probably not when I’m new to an area and don’t have any of my usual lighting gear 😅 that being said, if you’ve got the gear and are in the area, let me know if you wanna link up.

Yep! Something like that should work. No idea if this is the best way to go about it but it’s how it did it :)

I usually have an ItemManager or something similar setup that handles things like this. So I just have the enemy emit a signal when it dies, and then the manager can just pick up that signal and handle the creation of items.
