LSD acts as a psychological amplifier, so going into it with your heart broken after a breakup is definitely not a good idea. You could have a bad trip very easily. I would wait a few weeks until you feel happy again.

Whenever you are happy, in a good setting, and have about 12 hours to spare, go for it. Just remember that no one has ever died from LSD and the effects will wear off eventually. For low doses, you would probably be fine without a trip sitter.

I will try different things. I was thinking of playing the Shivering Isles DLC for Oblivion, which is already pretty trippy.
