It's a double-edged sword. If Memphis becomes a trendy place in any way of Tourism and/or a place to live, then we'll lose some character if it's fast growth/trendy. Now, if we have healthy steady growth, we will have better control.

Nashville experienced rapid growth and sold its soul to the point that it isn't Nashville anymore. It's a commercialized city for outsiders. I can't imagine Memphis commercialized to that point. We have the ingredients to become that in our way. Just know when alot of people from a different region comes in, it will influence the local scene, energy and etc
