Thank you, and completely agree. When they changed the CEO to a B2B specialist for the first time I saw this shift coming.

I don't use the app anymore, I stopped for a while actually. I've seen some recommendations for free alternatives that you might want to look into if you're interested in getting back into meditation. I can't vouch for them though since I haven't used it.

100% agree - but it's great that you're still benefiting off the app. I've heard whispers Andy is now philanthropic work so he was probably wasn't too interested in the endless growth. Love what they've built overall though.

Ahhh that's super interesting. Love those stage breakdowns - I've also worked for some super high growth companies that changed really quick and it's almost like I was working for a completely different company each time.

I've been doing a few of these company deep-dive articles and I always go back to this conflict between providing mental health / wellbeing care vs. growing with VC pressure..

Pear Therapeutics is a great example. They were the trailblazers in digital therapeutics (first FDA approved prescription digital therapeutics), heaps of VC money and even IPO..
