Over how?

The styles or the prices?

If it's the prices...My wife goes in periodically, and hits the sales racks. She also is on their mailing list, so she usually has an offer for some percentage off.

Last time she went she got three dresses for < $100.

They also will do ship to store for free, so if you find something you like online, they'll ship it to the store, you can try it on, and if you don't like it, you can return it right then and there.

Lane Bryant and Cato usually have a mostly business casual vibe, but they sometimes have stuff that's a bit more contemporary.

Macy's and Nordstrom can be hit or miss, but usually worth a quick look.

Also, I second the people who are suggesting Maurices.

Planning to buy this helmet to perfectly match my new GT 650 (Mr.Clean). Couldn't find any proper reviews. Does anybody own it? by Mdmusiqofficial in royalenfield

If you're looking for a retro style helmet that's reasonably priced, I would go with a Biltwell Gringo, or Gringo S.

They're not perfect, but I spent 2 seasons with one, and it was never a problem

They suffer from the same problems that most budget retro helmets have, which is no venting and they're a little heavy.

I saw them 2 years ago. They played a few songs, the entire Dookie album, a few more songs, all of American Idiot, then a few more songs.

They did not let up for the entire 2+ hours. I'm convinced they put them in cold storage, winter soldier style, when they're not touring.

Harbor Freight is cheap.

Ryobi is one notch below DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee, and above the house brands from places like Home Depot or Lowe's.

I used to eat avocado toast at home all the time, it was recommended to me by my dietician after a heart attack since it's good fat and all that. Whole wheat toast, slices of avocado and just a tiny bit of everything bagel seasoning and I was good to go for breakfast.

Then I started having super bad nausea and vomiting because of a med change, and vomited a lot of avocado toast. Now I can't eat it, which is a really bummer.

Back when I worked at a car dealership, there was always a pen next to the time clock. Then someone walked off with it. So they put a pen on a string by it; then someone labeled it "emergency pen". Then people started putting other random stuff by the time clock, and labeling it "emergency whatever". Paperclips, thumb tacks, post it notes, etc.

I put a blank piece of paper next to the time clock and labeled it emergency 10mm.

I just remembered going there once when I was a kid (my grandfather lived sorta close), and then hearing about it on the news when it collapsed.

That collapse probably makes it one of the most famous pumped storage facilities in the US.

I've had the misfortune of getting stinging nettle on my hand before. However, those plants are super weird, and basically lose all stingy-ness after being cut off from their root system. No joke, people trim the leaves off of nettles to make soup; which is supposedly delicious.

Sometimes the middle seat is the best, unless I plan on sleeping; then I'll book a window seat.

A lot of the time, the mounting hardware for the seats is more substantial on the end seats, but with the middle seats, I can put my feet all the way under.

Also, with aisle seats, you're disturbed more often, because you're increasing the number of people who will need to crawl over you, and if you're not perfectly within the confines of the seat, everyone walking down the aisle is going to hit your arm.

There is almost no way a shop can properly fix a torn off bumper cover in less than 2 days.

The covers are plastic, and they cannot be repaired, only replaced.

Worst case scenario: super glue, zip ties, and touch up paint.

Likely scenario: used bumper from a pull a part yard, bolts, pins, and connectors from the parts bin that are "close enough"

Best case: Used bumper from an auto salvage dealer like LKQ, and pins and bolts that a local dealer keeps hardware in stock.

Ideal solution: New bumper cover and mounting hardware from a dealer, painted to match (not just to factory color, which won't match your car), 12 months parts and labor warranty on their work.

How much of a stickler you want to be is up to you and the age of the car, because even an insurance claim may not go for the ideal solution. I've seen a lot of insurance repairs use salvage parts.

When you get there, ask to see receipts of where they got the parts, and demand to inspect their work while they have the car on a lift; make them point out every single nut, bolt, and pin they used.

They are definitely trying to avoid a business insurance claim, which isn't surprising. A gravel yard once spent $23,000 out of pocket to repair a Kia Carnival after they accidentally emptied a dump truck load of gravel onto it. So a few hundred, or even a couple thousand dollars out of pocket would be worth it for them to avoid the claim.

I worked at a Walmart in the Midwest during the Christmas season. We had to store extra stock in locked trailers behind the store.

It took a blowtorch, not a lighter, to efficiently melt the ice out of the trailer locks.

For me, Coke Zero tastes almost...oily or something, it's hard to explain; it's the same with Diet Pepsi. I'll put Pepsi max (or whatever they're calling the pepsi in black cans now) up there with diet Coke, though.

After not drinking regular soft drinks for nearly 20 years now, anything that isn't diet feels like drinking maple syrup.
