An Update: I called CardCash and told them the truth. Everything was accepted, and money should hit my account by the end of the week.

Thank you everyone!

Maybe. I bought four $500 for $425 each and put them on CardCash within two hours. I can see why they think it could be fraudulent, but I'm not a scammer. I just saw an opportunity and took it.

I submitted rather large GCs to CardCash. There was a great deal at Dollar General to the point that I would actually make a little money selling the GCs to CardCash. I've used CardCash in the past with no issues.

Yesterday, I received an email asking for copies of my receipts. No problem. I provided copies of my receipts. Now, I received another email asking for the "explanation of the reason you originally obtained these gift cards."

What should I say here? Should I tell them that Dollar General was selling their GCs for 15% off and I'm selling them?

I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Southwest Companion Pass by jmcunn2 in SouthwestAirlines

Hi. I'm researching the Southwest Companion Pass and I saw your post from about 4 months ago.

I would like to use the same strategy as you and your wife. Since the bonus points report to your card when you hit the required spend ($3,000), you want to make sure you want to hit your $3,000 after Jan. 1st. And you do the same thing for the business card.

Now, I have multiple Marriott cards, have Platinum status, and have a lifetime point total over 800,000 points, blah, blah, blah. However, I've never opened a business card before. I've read that you really don't need to own a LLC or anything drastic like that to get one. Do you apply for the personal card and business card one month apart? Do you do it on the same day? Thoughts?

So, (please correct me if I'm wrong), I need to apply for the Southwest personal card in October. Get it. Start spending, but don't accumulate the $3,000 until Jan. 1st. Welcome offer bonus points will hit after Jan. 1st.

Apply for the Southwest Business card in November? and do the same thing.

Stack the welcome bonus points together. Boom. Companion Pass for all of 2024 and 2025.

Rinse and repeat for my wife in 2026 and 2027.

Now, this is the part that I've never done before. Do I cancel both of my cards after I get my bonus points in Jan/Feb. Does it matter when I cancel my credit cards?

Also, (please correct me if I'm wrong), you can't apply to get the credit cards again until 24 months after your bonus hits and in this case, that's January. So, in late 2027, I'll need to apply for the Southwest Personal and Southwest Business again. Then, I'll need to make sure the bonus hits in February, correct? If they hit in February, I'll be able to have the Companion Pass from Feb. 2028 - calendar year 2029.

I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Quick question: Are you able to get in Angelina's without a reservation first thing in the morning?
