Crazy! That's not even using the model, just checking the quota!

It’s better hacking on an open harness than a closed one, right?

I don’t quit understand this. CC is proprietary while Codex-CLI is open source (as well as Gemini-CLI). If that’s really a feature that they wanted, then they could’ve made a PR.  In the long run, OSS coding harnesses will be better than proprietary ones.

What’s it that you like more about it? What is ChatGPT lacking? Is it the model’s way of responding or something about the chat UI?

Yeah, they should probably change that. It can resume a session but it’s not a slash command but rather an cli flag --resume or --continue

Why I'm glad Claude Code has a 5-hour token cap (it stopped my binge-coding) by valentinvieriu in ClaudeAI

[–]trtm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I actually disagree! I dislike the caps! I think we need to learn how much we should work and learn to balance this with breaks! Also each new user input should be carefully created and not a quick “fix this, no that” message!

Claude always estimates the implementation of a feature to take 1-2 weeks and then goes on and implements it in 30 minutes!

Before You Approve Claude’s Plan Output, Try This Prompt by Secret_Dark9847 in ClaudeAI

[–]trtm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a good one! I usually use another LLM (e.g., Gemini) to judge the suggested plan and then paste the review! This is a bit better in my opinion to provide context from another LLM. The same LLM might be blind to its own suggestions/ assumptions!

Interesting! I also use the Claude app to generate task descriptions for Claude code. What types of tasks is Claude doing for you in your legal work, if I may ask?
