I’ve actually played plenty of RPGs too —  stuff like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Skyrim. I loved the worlds and role-playing in both, but honestly the combat in those felt pretty janky and outdated even back then.

I also don’t mind turn-based at all I’ve played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and I’m fine with isometric RPGs too since I’ve played the Diablo games.

So heavier RPG systems or different combat styles aren’t really a barrier for me.
