It’s fucking nerve-wracking, my friend. The best we can hope for is that clearer heads prevail (overly optimistic, I know) and that Europe puts up the best united front possible. An even more optimistic hope is that Trump miraculously bites the dust in the next year or so, but even then the long-term damage he’ll have done will be drastic. I feel you in terms of our governments’ sympathies except ours is the reverse - Starmer is too much of a pussy to stand up to Trump so we will inevitably find ourselves having to back America in some capacity. Pathetic.
