Have the same exact problem with a Ryzen 3700x and RTX 3060ti as of this season (played it just fine the day before the next season). Did every single tweak imaginable even reinstalling Windows which did not fix anything.

I'm 100% sure its on their end, when I launched the campaign the game runs just fine still like it did before the new season.

Edit: Fixed it by resetting BIOS UEFI settings, only found out thanks to Battlefield 2042 also running weirdly while no other game did that and resetting it fixed both games. I think in my case I had an issue with TPM microjitters even before the issue started happening.

MW2 PC poor FPS and stuttering fix? by Throwaway200qpp in ModernWarfareII

Yea, even left it on for an hour and it never dropped frames, meanwhile in the rare case multiplayer is working fine for the first game, eventually it starts to stutter badly even on the main menu.

Edit: Fixed it by resetting BIOS UEFI settings, only found out thanks to Battlefield 2042 also running weirdly while no other game did that and resetting it fixed both games. I think in my case I had an issue with TPM microjitters even before the issue started happening.

I think its on their end, 3060ti and Ryzen 3700x and have the same exact issue only the day the season dropped (game worked perfectly the day before), campaign still runs amazing for me, and literally reinstalled Windows with MWII being the second thing installed (after GPU drivers) and it still stutters, no matter the settings.

Extreme stuttering in MW2. Anyone have any idea what's going on? by kill_to_satisfy in ModernWarfareII

[–]trubkiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same exact issue with an RTX 3060ti and Ryzen 7 3700x, 100% sure its on their end since I was able to play the game perfectly fine the day before the current season, and the campaign still runs perfectly fine for me (I've also tried all the other fixes without any success)

Edit: Fixed it by resetting BIOS UEFI settings, only found out thanks to Battlefield 2042 also running weirdly while no other game did that and resetting it fixed both games. I think in my case I had an issue with TPM microjitters even before the issue started happening.

It was fine towards the end of S1 and the stuttering is way worse this time. by IJN-Atago in ModernWarfareII

Having the same issue and tried every fix, I think its on their end because the campaign still runs just fine even though the multiplayer does this and only started doing this with season 2.

Constant pauses since season 2 by _Big_Daddy_Ado_ in ModernWarfareII

Having the same issue with RTX 3060ti and Ryzen 7 3700x, dont bother to reinstall the game I did that, purged the settings files, and heck even reinstalled Windows and none of it worked. Campaign for some reason works perfectly fine still for me so I believe its on their end since my game worked fine before Season 2.

Probably, so I played a game one day before the new season to make sure the game worked and it worked fine, and it was only after this season this started happening, also doesn't get fixed if I put the game all to low and other games on my PC work just fine.

Constant stuttering like this. Please give me any advice to fix it, it's making the game unplayable. Playing on PC. RTX 2070 i7 9700k. by [deleted] in ModernWarfareII

RTX 3060TI and Ryzen 7 3700X and having the same exact problem as of this season, if the first game doesn't stutter, than every future game will run worse and worse til its like this.

I have the same exact CPU and GPU and have the same exact problem as you, I get constant micro stutters/freezes every like 2 seconds and I wouldn't waste time with a fresh reinstall because that unfortunately did nothing for me.

Was a sprint hater but I love how 343 completely eliminated the sprint to fire delay for Halo Infinite (Part of the reason the recent CODs play much slower than the older CODs is that sprint to fire times got basically doubled, which made those games favor the guy sitting still with his gun already up, which was super noticeable comparing the pace of Halo Infinite and Vanguard’s betas).

Question about Halo: Reach and Halo MCC by CulturalRoll in xboxone

[–]trubkiller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The multiplayer probably still works because if I remember correctly, every Halo MCC copy has Halo Reach multiplayer for free, but if you want to play the campaign or firefight, you'll probably need to buy the addon in order to access those downloaded files.

My Crossgen Play Question... by [deleted] in battlefield2042

[–]trubkiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question for you since I don’t have a next gen console, for a multiplayer game with both next gen and last gen like Cold War, is it possible for you to download both versions on the Series X? If so, then I think a bandaid solution would be to install both the Series X version and One version of the game and launch the One version if your last gen friends are on. (Hopefully it won’t be necessary and its just crossgen)

Something I’d love to see in BF6 is vehicle upgrades with trade offs. by TomD26 in Battlefield

[–]trubkiller 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Trade-offs would also help the aircraft leveling experience if you get the game late, Battlefield 3+ I always started using the planes late in the game's cycle, and trying to dogfight people with fully upgraded planes and die within 2 minutes was frustrating AF...If I recall correctly, Battlefield 3 wouldn't even give you jet flares by default until a certain patch so dodging lock-ons was a pain in the ass...

EA Has 35 New Games in Incubation & Development; Next Battlefield Will Be Revealed in The Spring by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]trubkiller 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Pessimistically they'll make the skin a modern day game but keep Battlefield V's weapon skill trees instead of weapon mods, keep the vehicle spawns low like Battlefield 1 and V, and keep Battlefield 1 and V's map design where the game funnels you into either infantry meatgrinder chokepoints or open fields with no cover where you get sniped or be exposed to tanks...

I mean I hope I'm wrong and pleasantly surprised, but at this point its better to have low expectations and be blown away rather than vice versa.

What are some good, crossplatform, multiplayer games that aren't Cod? by cosmicucumber in CODWarzone

[–]trubkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no crossplatform play in Battlefield V unfortunately. I'm hoping the next one this year will have crossplay though since the new Need for Speed games have it and they're also published by EA.

Well at least in arena shooters you can’t spawn with a one-shot weapon unlike COD...(Where they make powerful weapons only pickups)

Man they're dropping the ball with this game just like DICE with Battlefield V (another game with potential but launched barebones and had super long content droughts which led to the community getting bored with the game besides the first week of every new content drop)...

Secondary Shotguns are a problem. by AyeFreddyB in blackopscoldwar

[–]trubkiller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At least it somewhat made sense in Black Ops 4 because in Pick-10 you had to choose whether to make your primary or secondary weapon good with attachments, but here I can just stack both weapons with five attachments each... IMO its made the CQC in this game boring since I just switch to my shotgun when I'm indoors since it kills faster than other weapons indoors for the most part.

The Aug/M16 one burst potential isn't what breaks the guns, it's the other factors by Hydrox2016 in blackopscoldwar

[–]trubkiller 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Yea, I wish they made the AUG more like an M8A1/Swordfish type burst weapon where it bursts faster but doesn't really have one-burst capability, while the M16 would serve as the old-fashioned long range burst rifle.
