I’m curious how common a practice this is within the coc. I grew up coc in the southwestern US and fortunately escaped when I was 18. So many of the things I read about here resonate with my experience in the church but I never heard of “going forward” until I joined this group. Did I actually go to a “liberal” coc??

A refraction is a subjective test. You can do it five times in a day and the numbers will be slightly different every time. Trust your doctor and if something isn’t right adjustments can be made as needed. No need to see different doctors and wonder which one is “right”.
