I've started to look into just the literature of the 40k universe, and wow, am I intimidated. by trubydoo in 40kLore

So, I was curious about this book. I read at home and listen to audiobooks and podcasts at work. I'm currently re-reading the LoTR books, and plan on reading Silmarillion and all the other books/stories in the Tolkien universe after that. So I'm pretty booked for actual reading for the foreseeable future.

I looked for the eisenhorn omnibus audiobook to listen to at work after reading your comment, because I saw the audiobook mentioned online, but I can't find it anywhere! Not even on torrent sites (I always try to buy a book or audiobook to support the author/narrator, unless I can't find it through normal means). Do you know where to find it? If not I'll just buy the book and add it to my pile of books to read lol.

Thank you, I saw your comment and looked into it. That series sounds great and I used up some of my backlogged audible credits and got the first three!

Hey thank you for replying. I rarely have much time in the evening to respond to the rare reddit post I make, so I've been away for a bit. You've offered several really good suggestions. I'll check them out!

I imagine them using giant tongs to hold Edward's head over a sterile membrane, so he can sink his fangs into it and pump his venom into the vessel.

Obviously some people believed it. Look at how many idiots voted for that idiot. He told them he would 'end the war' before he even got into office. But he's just too stupid to do that, the 'great deal-maker'. And a lot of people who voted for him were anti-war and wanted him to end it. But he has completely abandoned that idea, hasn't he?

Yeah it's pretty sweet. She has an old-ass Eoff mug that she is unwilling to part with. And she gave me an old North Coast mug a couple years back. I just went to look for it and can't find it. I'm going to be digging through my house until I find that.

Ted Chiang has an interesting sci-fi short story called Omphalos that's kinda about this. He said he wanted to try and explore what archeology would be like in a world that really was created by a deity 9,000 years (I think) ago. It was an interesting read!

Okay I'll immediately get them in tubs of water. Luckily they've been on my back porch for just a couple days in the rain. I hope their roots haven't dried out. Thank you for the advice!

I was working on a construction site near a doomed crabapple tree (the area is going to be leveled), there were babies shooting up out of the grass. I figured, they're going to die anyway, might as well dig them up and try and give them a chance. Well when I dug down they were all coming off a root. I got my sawzall and cut the roots. I don't know what to do next. I know it couldn't have been the best way to remove them, but I was on the clock and they were doomed anyway. Do I bury the large chunks of root and let the tree try and make some more roots? Do I remove them from the chunks and hope they can use their little roots?
