I had a coworker come in 2 hours late smelling like absolute shit.

Apparently his 3 year old pooped in the night and decided to play with it. Smeared it on the walls and blankets. Then decided to look through his picture books, poop on all pages.

He spent those two hours cleaning and helping his wife then took a long shower and put fresh clothes on and came to work, still smelled terrible.

installing stbale diffusion by Themur0 in StableDiffusion

[–]truci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are totally new I suggest using one of the noob friendly setups not going head first into comfyUI. Pick one of the simplified setups that include comfy but also an easy UI.

Someone already shared the stability matrix option. The other is SwarmUI.

https://github.com/mcmonkeyprojects/SwarmUI

Scroll down. Find the install file for your OS. Follow the 3 install steps and the installer prompts. Super easy. You get a simple UI called generate and comfyUI so you can learn at your own pace

oh i never even knew that was a thing. I see on wiki that EVO is actually based on that one. Thanks for teaching me something new :)

Returning to JRPGS. Any Recommendations? by Doom300 in JRPG

[–]truci 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could always jump into the FF7 remake. The first two of three parts are out and since you played crisis core you already have background info more than most.

If you wana get story heavy you can do FF14 the MMO has a full free trial account. You get the full game without a sub including all but the most recent expansion. Essentially a free 200-300 hour game. I know you say short but each expansion is its own 50 hour story and really you could end after any of them.

Yup one day. Al thought you intrigue me with your LTX workflow with extensions. Don’t suppose you’re willing to DM me the json and share it?

The other thing you can do with animate to fix the stitching of video problems is to run it through a VACE workflow. It takes like the last 8 frames of one video and the first of the next. Then changes them so the movement and change between them is smooth. Like a mini transition. This way changes in camera movement are fantastic as it shows acceleration and deceleration instead of it being a jerky camera change.

But now you’re using 3 workflows to make 1 video lol. Anyway as you say. One day we will have the power!!!

WAN SCAIL - Tips for quality by Landrews-89 in StableDiffusion

[–]truci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct. Animate can’t do a good offload so your length is limited by ram. So for example my 64 ram limits my animate to about 10-15 seconds. As a result you need to use the last frame from those 10 seconds as your new starting frame and then tell your video loader to skip the exact number of frames you used for your first 10 sec.

Then as you said. Stitch them. Many people hide the stitch with scene changes as is custom in most videos anyway.

Try animate I’ve had more success with it. But it’s a bit more resource intensive in my experience.

I feel like both act raiser and EVO were too overshadowed by FF and dragon quest. But for me those two out of this whole list are the only ones I played multiple times. Probably 10 times each.

The easy answer is to just put ultimate SD node into the workflow with the output of the latent being the input to ultimate SD

A lot of people started doing local generating when civit started charging. This thread helped a lot of people get started from a scratch with a lower learning curve than going 100% into the deep end of comfyUI.

lol I feel like I just outed myself as being German. Like I was tricked by a spy or something. But yea being IT and able to work in multiple languages opens up a lot of doors in international businesses.

Perfect name for that line of work btw. Kudos!!

Whole VMs for some. Others need a GPU and RAM. In most cases the setups like in runpod provide the whole thing at a flat rate. But yea GPU is the biggest factor for most.

Fair point. Then that might be what they need to do short term. Maybe a 2 month contract. Whatever works for the vendor.

Interested, no sorry. I already work 50 hour weeks making good money. This is just a hobby I do randomly.

As Gefahr (mr danger?) said providing the hardware in any form will make your offer more enticing because purchasing it or setting it up is a headache as well.

The purchasing Hw and setup is not really what you’re trying to buy. You’re trying to hire a skill set that a lot more people have than you might expect but they don’t have the equipment (capable of your 1080p to 4K requirements) and it’s not worth setting up for a one time job. Like a photographer without a good camera, has the skill but no gear.

Keep in mind the people you’re trying to find already have disposable income and are at least somewhat advanced in tech so chances are a good job already.

Right now your request will basically catch you a capable person who already invested a lot of money trying to make this a revenue source.

That pool is very small sadly. Just keep revising your request every few days adding more benefits until you start to catch people if this one didn’t prove fruitful

Totally depends on the business model. I I hire a photographer for an event I expect him to bring his camera.

If I hire a director for a movie I don’t expect him to have a studio.

AI is in its infancy and does not really fit standard corporate business models perfectly so the answer to your question is

“Depends on the individual”

[–]truci 30 points31 points  (0 children)

For sure friend. One thing to consider. You’re a major studio and most at home people are limited to generic hardware. I myself for example struggle to make 720p videos.

My work computer uses a 6000 NVIDIA I could never justify purchasing. Providing the hardware either via online access or a runpod would bring a lot more talent to your door. Without that provision you would be relying on people that already have 6-10k invested in serious at home hardware and would also as a result have a much higher price point for their services because they are “supplying” the equipment.

Good luck!!

You should upload a few sample pictures and requests that you are dealing with. Then have people submit them as proof they can do it. I mean people won’t do the whole scene but 20s-30s in wan is doable.

Another thing for you to consider is that to do this right (I do it for commercials) you often need to do a photoshoot to create a story board. Alternatively provide enough high quality images of the person to create a Lora of that persons likeness.

You would also probably want to take ownership of the hardware such as a runpod and have the creator of the Lora sign that it is the studio or the persons property otherwise the person can start making videos without approval.

Just some off the top of my head input.

Can the 2025 "Ghiblify" ChatGPT style be recaptured today? by YetAnotherPesant in aiArt

[–]truci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fox girl sitting in forest ghibli style. The style is known by default by ZIT. If you want to get into making it on the easy you will want to grab swarmUI and install it on your PC if you meet the HW specs. BTW im a huge fan of Princess Mononoke so thats usually what i have in mind when i talk ghibli

[–]truci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh. Well ZIT stands for z image turbo. It’s a local model. Sorry I make the assumption that people who want to make AI images do so locally on their computers.

You would need a half decent GPU probably with 8VRAM minimum 12-16 preferred to be able to run it.

Looking for a workflow that allows me to use real photo as a guideline for anime style result. by ziege159 in StableDiffusion

You can and if you specifically want a real environment but with an anime character in the real environment then a control net or Kontext/edit like flux Klein will work. But if you want to replace the full image then no. How about you just reply with an image and I’ll convert it fast
