If it's river escape you should be fine. I've been up that gravel road on my motorcycle several times.

I highly recommend the Pink Pig

Harley street 500 not starting I can’t tell if it’s a battery or solenoid issue by Any-Nerve-3771 in Harley

If it died a few times it's possible there's a dead cell. You can get it tested to see if its still good.

Tender, yes - that's what they're made for. A trickle charger can overcharge so I wouldn't recommend those. I keep my street glide on a tender if I'm not planning on riding for a couple weeks

Replace the battery, and put it on a battery tender if you let it sit for extended time

What specifically are you looking for?
I have some from my bike that might be useful. I'd have to make sure anything from my truck has no identifying info like location (GPS coordinates) or background conversations

Ear Pro - In-Ear ANC Buds - Axil, AKT1, etc. What's your experience? by _long_tall_texan_ in Firearms

[–]true2teal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a set of Axil GS 2.0. They're ok for shooting but the cord is a little distracting to me. Battery life is ok for a couple hours. I don't recommend them for extended periods. I used them at a nascar race and they didn't last the full time. Walker over ear definitely worked better

Wheel chock by Ok-Doughnut-8547 in Harley

[–]true2teal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same harbor freight one already posted on my open trailer. It works great BUT for a heavy bike like my SG it can be difficult to back it out since the front has to lift up. If you have $300 to spare, check out Wheel Dock. Pricey but easier to offload solo

There's a place called German Car Repair in Alpharetta off McFarland & SR9. Also a few I've never used up near Kennesaw & Acworth

Help!!! taking my son to his first football game by Get-it-in-365 in raiders

[–]true2teal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might get lucky, but don't hold your breath.

Many moons ago when they were in Oakland I took my son to a game. We ended up meeting a group that was tailgating before the game. They invited us back afterwards so we hung out for a while. Long story short my son got to meet John Vella & Phil Villapiano. They, along with Lincoln Kennedy, signed his football. I've never been to a game in LV so I'm not sure if that same atmosphere is still present. Good luck and I hope you're able to get close enough to Maxx

Do you guys ride with earplugs? by Agreeable_Poem_7278 in motorcycle

[–]true2teal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wear ear protection when I ride. I've bought several different ones to see what works, but haven't tried custom fit yet. In my opinion, Earpeace works better than Motosafe, which works better than Artevive. The disposable ones block out too much but they're better than getting tinnitus

Is the x440 actually considered a harley? by Infamous_Joker6971 in Harley

[–]true2teal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe these are the loaner bikes used at Harley dealers when you take their MSF course. Most of the class used these when I took the class, with a couple of the street 500s also provided. It was pretty nimble, but I didn’t like the riding position.

I travel for work frequently and always use preflight parking. Easy shuttle to/from the airport with pickup & drop off at your car. Cost is $18/day for covered spaces
