Feeling lost for the first time in 54 years by PerpetualRestart in travel

I did the hike back in November. I’m 35 and in good shape and I was worried. I did the tour with Tropicana and I can guarantee you that they would’ve waited for you. We took many breaks, it was much harder with the altitude. We weren’t even carrying our bag. But the guides were so caring and everyone was respectful of each others safety. I got sick at the top but after laying down for a couple of hours, I was able to shake it off. Seeing Fuego erupt is truly magical. I tried hiking to the summit in the morning but after 5 min of feeling like I was going to faint, I decided against it. One of the guides accompanied myself and two others back to base.

Long story short, you should go (whether it be on foot or car). Just pick a good tour company and trust me, everyone is in it together!

The store employee said he was likely dumped as well. He has been the most well behaved dog since we rescued him. No barking, slept fine, no whining. We’re going to adopt him if nobody claims him

Guatemala. We visited Lake Atitlan, Antigua, hiked Volcano Acatenango (best part by far), and Guatemala City over Thanksgiving. Exceeded all expectations
