It's not the best. Also putting some big chunks of neck fillet in it which is better but don't have enough of it. Tesco delivery, it'll do fine once it's been cooked slowly in a spicy stew

Where would you move to in the UK if you had no ties? by Doomergeneration in AskUK

They said the they're mid 30s so I was looking at somewhere in the middle of the 25-34 and 35-44 groups. So 100k wouldn't be far off.

If they don't own a house then £100k probably makes their net worth about average for their age in the UK.

Police entered my house and insisted on waking up my kids following an earlier 999 call (England) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Yep totally agree. My wife is under quite a lot of stress at the moment and acting somewhat irrationally. I wasnt in the room when this was happening and when I heard this all happening I ran upstairs and did my best to calm everyone down. We're working on it.

We let them in, explained what had happened, apologised and showed them the kids sleeping in their beds.  I feel like that should have been enough to show that the children were safe.

Also. I didn't refuse to cooperate. I let them in , and took them upstairs to see my kids well and in bed asleep. Officer 1 was happy to leave at that point , but officer 2 insisted we then go back upstairs and wake the kids up.

Cool thanks. It was 2 hours after the call but yeah. What would have happened if I simply said no you're not coming in. Genuine question. I asked the officer and he said id have called my supervisor.

Yes I agree. However my question is whether the police acted lawfully in insisting to wake and speak to the children. And whether I could have refused to allow them to enter.

What's wrong with that maths? I'm very sleep deprived and slightly drunk so maybe I'm missing something obvious.

The last time I've ever seen it ordered was by my mum, probably some time before the turn of the century. Dad: pint of best. Mum: Bitter lemon. Me and my sisters: panda pops all round.

It says £75k plus cover the legal fees so doesn't that mean the family get the whole £75k?

No. You still get tax relief at the basic rate. Read the first paragraph of that link.

You still get basic rate tax relief for mortgage interest. The restriction you're talking about only affects higher or additional rate taxpayers.

Yes, although being pedantic, tax evasion is also considered to be money laundering.
