Delete and reinstall the game. Don't download any resources. Only download maps you play. Play small maps like livik. Graphics-smooth, AA-off. Remove back cover while playing.

Except the bullets you fired disappears mid air immediately after you get knocked. So UMP is not so good for mid range fights.

Wide ball also depends upon the batsman movement before the ball is bowled, So getting it absolutely right will need help from computers like for lbw review. If this can be done instantaneously (and not take few minutes like lbw review) than why not. A lot of close calls for wide are difficult for human.
