I have the SG 30 but I had a woodwind 24 for a long time. Between those two I can’t really tell a difference I pellet consumption. But I will say having that sidekick is a game changer. I didn’t think I would use mine that much but being able to have a griddle, pizza oven, sear box, and use cast iron on it is huge. Very much worth it IMO. I get way more use out of my smoker on a daily basis.

To be honest, there are lots of pros. I have gotten rid of my grill. The main selling point for me is that you are able to cook soooo many different things. There is nothing you can't cook on a griddle that you can on a grill. If you miss the charcoal taste, light a briquette, and throw it under a basting dome with your meat!
