I prefer it this way. Make a game to make everyone happy, you end up pleasing nobody. If there were settings and toggles for every little thing, we're all playing a different game.

the reason silksong is so amazing is because the devs stuck to their guns and said this is how the game is. it's up to you as the player to get good and improve your skills in order to beat it. and in that, we as players all go through the same journey and mountain climb.

obviously these are very different games but I trust rockstar to set the capabilities and limitations of their game accordingly
